The Raja Saab [2][3](transl. The Raja Sir) is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language romantic horror film[4] written and directed by Maruthi, and produced by T. G. Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibotla under People Media Factory. The film stars Prabhas, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar and Malavika Mohanan.[5]
The film was officially announced in January 2023, however in December 2022, stills from the shooting spot was leaked, which confirmed it. Before the official confirmation, the official title was reported to be Raja Deluxe, but was announced as The Raja Saab in the former month.[6] Principal photography commenced in January 2023 in Hyderabad. The film has music composed by Thaman S, cinematography handled by Karthik Palani and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.[7]

Production
Development
Made with a budget under Rs 100 crore,[9] the project was officially announced on 15 January 2024 with a first look poster on the occasion of Sankranti.[10]
Previously known as "Raja Deluxe", in early December 2023, the title of the movie was speculated to be "Raja Saab" and the title was finalised with the release of the first look. Reports stated that Maruthi has altered the script to suit Prabhas’s image as a big star. Later, a few action sequences have been added to the script.[11]
Filming
This movie will be Prabhas's next project after Kalki 2898 AD. The filming of The Raja Saab began at the end of 2022 and it was reported that a fifth of the movie have been shot by Summer 2023. A house costing Rs 6 crores was erected to shoot the majority of the film.
