4th Street (Manhattan)Fourth Street (Manhattan)Relisted. Vegaswikian (talk) 16:59, 2 November 2011 (UTC) This page does not follow the WP:ORDINAL policy of spelling out numbers below 10. Thus, it should be moved to Fourth Street (Manhattan). Acps110 (talkcontribs) 20:19, 26 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Rename to West Fourth Street or West 4th Street. Since the first is used in the article and the street is labeled W 4 ST. If a disambiguation is needed, it can be added, but may not be needed at this time. Vegaswikian (talk) 17:01, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. First, that rule applies to the body of article text, not titles. Second, that rule says, "Proper names, formal numerical designations, and other idioms comply with common usage;". Third, and most importantly, WP:AT does apply here and WP:COMMONNAME indicates we follow common usage, which, so far as I can tell, is "4th Street". The parenthetic disambiguation is entirely consistent with WP:D. If it ain't broke... --Born2cycle (talk) 18:18, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose Our naming convention is to use the most common version of the name. There is a specific example at WP:AT which is relevant (although it refers to a street in Germany). Straße des 17. Juni: Name of a street in Berlin. The name of this street refers to a date ("17th of June") - the whole is kept in German, while that's the way the street is referred to, also in English. Note that the point after the number 17 is the German way of writing what in English translates to "th" (in German this point is pronounced as "ten"). However, would Support a move to West 4th Street (or West 4th Street, Manhattan preferably) per the argument given by Vegaswikian. Skinsmoke (talk) 21:51, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
