[edit]As someone from Gueydan, ESPN coming over was beyond a huge thing for the town, but for the record SportsCenter did do a segment from Gueydan, as it was a live remote on the 6:00PM SportsCenter. I remember it because we commented to ourselves here at home that despite all of the hoopla, ESPN sent a fourth string reporter to host the remote, much to the chagrin of the festival organizers.
