Miss Universe Philippines 2024 will be the fifth edition of the Miss Universe Philippines competition.

Christian Joy Lorenzo Bautista of La Union will crown her successor at the end of the event. The winner will be represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2024 competition to be held in Mexico.

Background

Selection of participants

On April 11, 2023, the Miss Universe Philippines Organization announced the launch of an "Accredited Partners Program" in selecting delegates from the 2024 edition onwards.[1][2] Replacing the screening process adopted by the pageant since its inception, the program will allow accredited partners to organize pageants to send or appoint delegates to compete in the national pageant.[3] Meanwhile, National Director Shamcey Supsup-Lee explained that the new format intends to "even the playing field" by having local organizers provide resources to delegates in participating in the pageant.[3]

Reflecting the Miss Universe Organization's decision to scrap the age limit from Miss Universe 2024 onward, the pageant will allow delegates aged 29 and above to compete in the pageant, while observing the minimum age requirement of 18.[4][5]
