- Done as one of a couple of improvements in this edit. Thanks for the suggestion! — Bilorv (talk) 10:51, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
Maths prodigy
[edit]In Taskmaster - Series 4, Episode 2 'Look At Me' Adefope presents a certificate for solving GCSE-level maths problems at age "I think 9", i.e. at an academic level 5 to 7 years ahead of her age. (Range because I'm not sure about the definitions, and the age is not entirely certain.) To be fair this is a comedy programme and I haven't found another source for this. But if we can confirm it, I think that's an important part of "early life". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chraab (talk • contribs) 20:03, 14 April 2022 (UTC)
- Without substantial coverage in another source, this isn't worthy of coverage. The claim is very vague. An early question on a Foundation maths GCSE paper might be to choose which of 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 is a multiple of 3. A common question type that would appear on Higher tier papers would ask which product is cheaper when given different bits of information to compare (e.g. "9 cans costs £3.60"), which I wouldn't think to be beyond the reach of a 9-year-old with decent mathematical understanding. On the other hand, if she was fluently factorising quadratic expressions then that's another matter. — Bilorv (talk) 22:24, 25 June 2022 (UTC)
She was in Mission Impossible Fallout

- The article, and most Wikipedia articles, is open to editing by all. You can be bold and add information that is reliably referenced yourself. — Bilorv (talk) 21:43, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
