Dhruv Tara – Samay Sadi Se Pare (transl. Dhruv Tara – Beyond Time and Centuries) is an Indian Sci-fi Fantasy Romantic Drama television series that premiered on 27 February 2023 on Sony SAB.[1] Produced by Shashi Mittal and Sumeet Mittal under Shashi Sumeet Productions, it stars Ishaan Dhawan and Riya Sharma.[2][3]

Plot

In the 17th century, (Commander) Senapati Samrat Singh wanted to become the King of Vallabhgarh. To fulfill his evil ambitions, he poisons Yuvraj Mahaveer and plots to marry Mahaveer's younger sister, Rajkumari Tarapriya. Mahaveer develops a lethal brain tumor, and Tara, an aspiring Ayurvedic doctor (vaidya), tries her best to find a cure. Tara can somewhat control the growth of Mahaveer's brain tumor, but no cure exists in their era. Tara learns about and practices ayurveda secretly with Mahaveer's support but is forbidden from openly working as a doctor (vaidya) because she is a woman.

Maharani Saraswati has been exiled from the kingdom for years for suspected adultery, and it is forbidden for anyone to meet her. She summons her daughter Tara after hearing of her son Mahaveer's brain tumor. Saraswati tells Tara that she is not guilty of adultery and that she had accidentally time-traveled to the future many years ago, where there are doctors who can treat brain tumors through surgery. She insists that Tara should time travel to the 21st century through the forbidden Navrangvan to find a neurosurgeon who can treat Mahaveer. Still, she cannot tell Tara how to return to the 17th century. Meanwhile, Samrat has discovered that Tara is a vaidya and has been secretly treating Mahaveer. Maharaj Udaybhan is upset that Tara visited his wife. Samrat tells Udaybhan that Tara is a talented vaidya and lies that Tara has touched him (Samrat) while treating him previously. The royal priest advises Udaybhan that since Tara has handled Samrat, an unrelated male, Tara, and Samrat should be married to each other. A baffled Udaybhan, fixes Tara's marriage with Samrat against Tara's wishes. However, Tara flees on her wedding day with the help of her friend Anusuya, Mahaveer's fiancée. Despite Samrat's efforts to stop her, Tara reaches Navrangvan, and time travels to the 21st century.

Tara arrives in Agra in 2023, meeting successful neurosurgeon Dr. Dhruv Saxena. Tara explains that she is a princess from the 17th century, and Dhruv assumes that she is a mentally ill patient reported to have escaped a local psychiatric hospital. Dhruv takes her to the hospital, but Tara is discharged once the misunderstanding is cleared. Tara and Dhruv cross paths again multiple times before Tara realizes Dhruv is the doctor she is searching for. On one occasion, Tara meets Dhruv's grandparents, not knowing they are related to Dhruv, and saves them from a thief. Finding out that Tara has nowhere to live, they take her to their home without informing anyone. Tara realizes she is in Dhruv's house and is happy to have finally found him. Once she is discovered in the place, Tara is thrown out by Dhruv's mother, Susheela, but Dhruv stops her. Dhruv's aunt, Lalita, suggests keeping Tara as a maid to which Tara agrees.

Tara wins everyone's hearts except Susheela, Lalita, and Dhruv's sister-in-law Ayesha. Tara is fascinated by modern-day technology, which is amusing to some family members and baffling to others. Vidya, Susheela's mother, loves Tara's speaking style in proper Hindi, but this also leads to misunderstandings between Tara and the others she interacts with. It is revealed that Ayesha loves Dhruv, but he rejects her marriage proposal because he knows that his cousin Jay loves Ayesha. Ayesha then married Jay so that she could still live in the same home as Dhruv and prevent him from marrying anyone else. Ayesha is still desperate for Dhruv's love and is unwilling to move on in her own life or to let Dhruv move on with anyone else. In the 17th century, Samrat tried to find Tara and sent a soldier Dharmendra to Navrangvan. Dharmendra also travels to 2023 in Agra, where he becomes comatose after encountering the police. Dhruv and Tara find him and admit him to the hospital. Eventually, Tara comes to know that Susheela's husband, Ravi, left home with an unidentified woman on Holi many years ago; because of this, Susheela is insecure about Dhruv being taken away from her by Tara, and the Saxena family does not celebrate the Holi festival. Tara convinces Dhruv and the family to celebrate Holi, and Dhruv and Tara become friends. Susheela's fears increase when she sees their growing friendship and when Dhruv gives special attention to Tara.

Dhruv received an offer to work in Canada for three years, for which he would be leaving India in one month. Tara realizes that she has a very short time to convince Dhruv to take him to the 17th century to get her brother treated. Tara entrances Dhruv with the help of medicinal herbs and tries to take him with her to the 17th century but fails to find Navrangvan. Dhruv comes to his senses and questions Tara. Tara requests Dhruv to find Navrangvan for her so she can return home. Meanwhile, the Saxena family read the letter Tara left for them, explaining that Dhruv has gone away with her temporarily. Still, they are afraid that Tara has taken Dhruv away from them forever. Susheela is distraught at the thought that history has repeated itself. When Dhruv and Tara return home, Dhruv explains that he had gone on an emergency patient visit with Tara accompanying him, but Susheela remains suspicious of Tara. Meanwhile, in the 17th century, Samrat was announced as the new heir to the throne after Mahaveer's health worsened. Mahaveer visits Saraswati to seek Tara's whereabouts, and she indirectly informs him that Tara time-travelled to the future to find a surgeon for his treatment. Mahaveer asks Saraswati why he couldn't have time travelled to seek treatment, and Saraswati tells him that he couldn't withstand the pressure generated within the time machine in his current state of health.

Alarmed by Dhruv's growing closeness to Tara, Susheela wanted Dhruv to marry a girl of her choice before moving to Canada. Susheela fixes Dhruv's marriage with a girl named Preeti Shukla, who, unbeknownst to everyone, is already married and pregnant. Preeti's elder brother Tarun, an archaeologist, is dominating; because of this, Preeti hesitates to tell him the truth and agrees to go along with the engagement until she can tell Dhruv the truth.

Dhruv finds out about a place called Navrangvan temple. He and Tara reach there, but Tara is disheartened when it turns out to be a replica rather than the original Navrangvan. Dhruv then contacts a priest to find out further information about Vallabhgarh and the real Navrangvan. On Dhruv and Preeti's engagement day, Tara sees a man attempting to kidnap a young woman and beats him up. The police attempt to arrest Tara even though the man is a goon who regularly harasses women, and she flees and reaches a mass wedding venue. Tara dresses up as a bride to disguise herself, with her veil hiding her face. Realizing Tara is in trouble after seeing a viral video of her beating up the goon, Dhruv reaches the wedding venue, dresses as Tara's groom, and cleverly stops the police from seeing her face. Dhruv and Tara participate in some of the wedding rituals before escaping, so word has spread to Tarun and the Saxena family that Dhruv has married someone. Susheela sees Tara and Dhruv dressed as bride and groom, assuming they are married. Preeti tells Dhruv and Tara the truth about her marriage and pregnancy and requests them to pretend to be married until she can leave Agra with her husband. Dhruv and Tara act as a married couple in front of the Saxena family, which angers Susheela and Ayesha. It is also revealed that Dhruv is Lalita and Sanjay's biological son. After the departure of Susheela's husband, Ravi (Sanjay's younger brother), Lalita and Sanjay were worried that Susheela would slip into depression, so they gave their toddler son Dhruv to Susheela so that she would have a fulfilling reason to live happily.

An enraged Tarun tricks Susheela by showing her the viral video where Tara is seen beating the goon. Shocked and disgusted, Susheela accompanies Tara to the police station to have her arrested. There, Tarun records a video of an accident, where Susheela pushes Tara in front of a car. He uses the video to file a false domestic violence complaint against Susheela on Tara's behalf. Tara takes a stand for Susheela, gets her released, and is arrested for beating up the goon. Susheela realizes Tarun's true colors and repents for how she treated Tara. Dhruv finds the woman Tara saved from the goon, and she and several other young women previously harassed by the goon drag him to the police station and beat him up there. The goon accepts his misdeeds, and Tara is released from custody. Dhruv realizes his love for Tara, and Susheela forgives Tara and accepts Tara as her daughter-in-law.

With time, Susheela, Lalita, and Vidya learn that Dhruv and Tara are pretending to be married for Preeti's sake. Susheela questions Dhruv and asks him whether he loves Tara. Dhruv confesses his love in front of everyone; however, Tara feels that Dhruv lied to Susheela. Dhruv and Tara learn of a medieval book about Vallabhgarh from the priest Dhruv had contacted previously, which they believe has information about the modern-day location of Navrangvan. Unfortunately, Tarun snatches the book before they can get it. Dhruv and Tara try to steal the book from Tarun's house but fails, although Tara sees the riddle hidden in the book by her mother, which contains information about how to find Navrangvan in the 21st century. Tarun finds out and is convinced that Tara can solve the riddle, which he hopes will help him find the riches of Vallabhgarh. Tarun decides to excavate the area the book indicates to discover Vallabhgarh.

With Preeti's help, Dhruv and Tara go to the excavation site to steal the book. A 400-year-old painting depicting Tara and Samrat's marriage is discovered at the site. As a result, Tara thinks that she will have to marry Samrat upon returning home. After seeing the painting and listening to the testimony of soldier Dharmendra, who has awoken from his coma in the hospital, Dhruv believes Tara's story about being from the 17th century. He promises to go there with her to treat her dying brother. Tara requests a family photo before leaving with Dhruv to treat her brother, after which she reveals to everyone that her marriage to Dhruv was fake and that she is engaged to someone else. The Saxena family wishes for Tara and Dhruv to marry, encouraging Dhruv to fight for his love and return with Tara after treating Mahaveer. Meanwhile, Tarun has found out and accepted the truth of Preeti's marriage and pregnancy, and on her request, he seemingly agrees to let Preeti give the book to Dhruv and Tara. Dhruv gathers battery-powered medical devices, and Tara meets Preeti to pick up the book. Tarun meets Tara instead and causes trouble for her and Dhruv. Dhruv and Tara overcome many obstacles Tarun poses and finally get the book from him. They then make it to Navrangvan with the book and their medical devices, ready to time travel to the 17th century – where Mahaveer's health is now declining due to Samrat burning the remaining medicines that Tara had prepared and left for him.

Dhruv and Tara time-travelled to the 17th century but separated while escaping from soldiers who thought Dhruv and Tara to be spies of another kingdom. Tara got to know about the coronation ceremony of Samrat. Tara reaches the palace, stops the ceremony, and tells that she has brought the doctor to cure Mahaveer. Meanwhile, Dhruv is captured by soldiers who thought him a spy, but Dhruv escapes. But he gets stuck in a trap by soldiers, but a little girl named Sukanya saves Dhruv as Dhruv helps a goat owned by her. Dhruv and Tara unites again, and they reach the palace where Dhruv confesses his love to Tara in front of everyone but in English, which no one understands, showing his knowledge. Samrat got afraid as Tara brought Dhruv to cure Mahaveer, so he manipulates everyone, even the King, and gives Dhruv a challenge to treat a dying soldier on the spot, and if Dhruv fails, then Dhruv's hands will be cut down. Dhruv almost saved the soldier's life, but on Samrat's order, the Raj Vaidya secretly poisoned the soldier, pretending to check him. As a result, the soldier died, and Dhruv got arrested.

In the 21st century, Dhruv and Tara had sent the soldier Dharmendra to the Saxena family to protect them from Tarun's goons while Jay sees the divorce papers brought by Ayesha. On the other hand, to save Dhruv, Tara takes an arrow on her and tells Udaybhan to release Dhruv to treat her to prove his talent. Udaybhaan releases Dhruv as Dhruv saved Tara, and now he is qualified to treat Mahaveer. Samrat tries to befriend Dhruv by taking him to the dancer Mandakini, so he can't treat Mahaveer. But Dhruv refuses to be with Mandakini. Tara falls for Dhruv and gets jealous seeing Dhruv with other women.

Dhruv starts Mahaveer's treatment, but he needs an assistant. So he asks Tara to assist him, but Tara refuses him as no one would agree on a woman being a doctor. But Dhruv and Mahaveer convinced her, and they also convinced everyone through voting. Dhruv and Tara are all set to treat Mahaveer, but Samrat and Royal Priest spoil Dhruv's equipment. So, Dhruv decided to return to the 21st century to bring equipment, but Mahaveer got injures on the way to Navrangvan. Now, it is very urgent to treat Mahaveer as soon as possible. So, Dhruv decides to prepare Baghdad batteries to run his equipment. After running the equipment and preparing the anesthesia, Dhruv and Tara starts the surgery, and Samrat tries to stop them but gets failed, and the surgery gets successful. Udaybhan wants to fulfill Dhruv's wish, and as a wish, Dhruv asks to release Saraswati from her punishment. After many arguments, Udaybhan orders Saraswati to give 'Agni Pariksha' to prove her innocence, but Dhruv takes a stand for her and proves her innocence. After that, Saraswati is released from her punishment. Saraswati takes permission from Udaybhan to treat a prisoner who helped her during her tough times (when she time travelled) and asks Dhruv to treat him. Meanwhile, in the 21st century, Susheela remembers Ravi as their anniversary and prays for his well-being. In the 17th century, Dhruv meets the prisoner (none other than Ravi) and feels connected with him.

Dhruv confesses his love to Tara, and she realizes her love for Dhruv but decides not to reveal it to him as she is engaged with Samrat. But Mahaveer tells Tara that he knows Dhruv and Tara's feelings for each other. So, Mahaveer convinced Udaybhan to approve of Dhruv and Tara's love.

At the coronation ceremony of Mahaveer, Udaybhan makes Mahaveer the new heir to the throne. He makes Dhruv the royal doctor of Vallabhgarh and allows Tara to get the teachings of doctors from Dhruv. Udaybhan also fixes Tara's marriage with Samrat. It is revealed that Udaybhan misunderstood the saying of Mahaveer about Dhruv and Tara's love. On the same day, Maharishi arrives at the palace. Mahaveer tries to tell Udaybhan about Dhruv and Tara's love, but Maharishi stops him. Maharishi tells Mahaveer that they have done wrong by changing destiny. Maharishi explains to Mahaveer that he should not be alive and that it is impossible to complete Dhruv and Tara's love story. Maharishi also told him they would get harsh consequences for changing time and destiny. Maharishi shows him a glimpse into how Mahaveer killed Dhruv and reveals that it would be none other than Mahaveer himself who must stop Dhruv and Tara's love story. Tara goes to Mahaveer so that he can confront Udaybhan, but Mahaveer refuses. Saraswati tries to explain to Udaybhan that Tara wants to marry someone else, but Udaybhan tells Saraswati and Tara that whoever Tara has loved will not be alive. So for the sake of Dhruv's life, Tara didn't tell Udaybhan about her and Dhruv's love. Tara tells Dhruv that they can't be together, so he should go back to the 21st century, but Dhruv stays in the palace because he promised the Saxena family to bring Tara as his bride. Dhruv confronts Mahaveer about him and Tara, but Mahaveer tells him that he will not let Dhruv marry Tara. Dhruv also tells him that no one can stop him from completing his and Tara's love story.

Samrat watched Dhruv and Tara together and found out about their love. Hence, he injures Dhruv and tries to kill Dhruv, but Tara told Samrat that whatever he did to Dhruv, she would do to herself, and if anything happened to Dhruv, she would kill herself. At the same time, Dhruv is committed to finding Ravi's family and taking Tara to the 21st century with complete respect. Samrat tries to send Dhruv away, but he fails. Tara, Saraswati, and Mahaveer discover that Ravi is Dhruv's father and Susheela's husband. Samrat kidnaps Ravi before Tara can tell Dhruv about his and Ravi's connection and tells Tara that if she wants Ravi alive, she must send Dhruv away. Tara and Mahaveer secretly faint Dhruv and send him in a box to the 21st century, but Dhruv escapes before he can go back to the 21st century.

Tara has a breakdown after sending Dhruv to the 21st century, but Dhruv arrives and tells Tara that she should not send him away from herself. Dhruv and Tara hugs each other, but Maharaj Udaybhan watches them. At the same time, Mahaveer tries to find the location of Ravi but fails.

Udaybhan announced the punishment of death to Dhruv. Udaybhan sends Mahaveer to kill Dhruv, but Mahaveer tries to save Dhruv. Samrat interrupts him, puts his sword on Tara's throat, and tells him to choose one from Dhruv and Tara. Mahaveer decides to save Tara and kills Dhruv. After Dhruv's death, Tara goes into depression and breaks ties with Mahaveer. At the same time, Tara and Samrat's marriage ceremonies started. Tara told Samrat to release Ravi, but Samrat refused and said he would not release him until his marriage was done with Tara. On the Haldi ceremony, strange things begins with Samrat. After that, Samrat shows Tara a portrait of their wedding; then she realizes that the portrait was actually before the wedding, so she probably won't have to marry Samrat. Tara remembers Dhruv, and he showed himself in front of her. Dhruv and Mahaveer told Tara how Mahaveer saved Dhruv. They also told Maharani Saraswati, Anusuya, and Sukanya that Dhruv was alive. Now, they all start their plan to reveal the crimes of Samrat. They started doing strange things with Samrat, making him believe that he had a huge lump in his head like Mahaveer.

On the wedding day, Dhruv and Tara and the team execute their final plan to reveal the crimes of Samrat in front of everyone. After learning the truth, Udaybhan fires him from his post and imprisons him. Udaybhan also announced Dhruv and Tara's wedding. Tara tells Udaybhan about Dhruv's time travel and Ravi's connection with Dhruv. Tara and Mahaveer are still trying to find Ravi's location from Samrat. While in the 21st century, Susheela and Vidya learns that Dharmendra can speak and he is hiding something from them. So they followed him and it leads them to Navrangvan. Tara don't want to marry Dhruv until Ravi is found but Mahaveer ensures her that he will find him before the marriage. A mysterious girl with a knife enters the palace. Dhruv and Tara's wedding ceremonies started and on the same day Mahaveer and Anusuya's marriage ceremonies also gets started. Mahaveer and Anusuya's marriage ceremonies are going well but Dhruv and Tara's marriage ceremonies faces problems but somehow they managed to complete the rituals.

After the completion of the ritual, things were getting wrong and a strong power showed up which flashes in both 17th and 21st century. After that everything seemed to be normal and nobody remembered anything except Dhruv and Tara. They wondered what happened at the palace. After the ceremony, both Dhruv and Tara experiences a strange feeling. Dhruv receives the letter from the 21st century by Dharmendra who tells him to return soon. Dhruv and Tara got tensed so they decided to go 21st century to see his family. On reaching 21st century, Dhruv and Tara realized that nobody recognises them, not even the Saxena family. They meet Dharmendra who tells them what had happened in the 21st century. But in the conversation, both Dhruv and Tara had a vision in which Maharishi tells them about their wrongdoings by changing the flow of time. Maharishi told them that now they will have to face fatal consequences and now they hold Navrangvan's curse. Maharishi told them how and for what purpose, Navrangvan was built. Maharishi told them that by changing the flow of time, Dhruv's existence from 21st century has been erasesd. Maharishi also showed them a glimpse of Dhruv and Tara fighting each other with sword and hating each other. Dhruv and Tara realized that it was only a vision. While in the 17th century, the mysterious girl tried to interact with Mahaveer multiple times. When Mahaveer meets her and questions her then she revealed that she is Tilottama and she has the knife to protect her from Samrat's spies. She led him to Ravi and both of them successfully released Ravi. In the 21st century, Dhruv and Tara gets to know about the auction of the Saxena house for not paying bank's loan. Tara told Dhruv to give her gold jewellery to the Saxena family to pay the loan. So, they tell the Saxena family that the Saxena house is actually Dhruv's ancestors and there is a treasure in the house. They found the treasure (placed by Dhruv and Tara) but Susheela refuses to take the treasure. While in the 17th century, in the court, Tilottama's fiancé blamed her of cheating on him with Mahaveer. So, to save Tilotama's character, Mahaveer decides to marry Tilottama.

Dhruv named his all research on neurology to Jay so that he can get job in Canada and can pay the loan. Dhruv and Tara meet their family and returns to the 17th century where they decides to finish the curse of Navrangvan first. On reaching the palace they are surprised to know about Mahaveer's wedding. In depression, Anusuya drinks poison but Dhruv and Tara saved her. Samrat tells Dhruv about his connection with Ravi. Dhruv gets angry at Tara, but unfortunately, somebody impersonates as Dhruv and kills Udaybhan. Dhruv gets imprisoned. So Dhruv gets heartbroken by knowing that Tara also knew that Ravi is his father and speaks rudely to Tara and the royal family. Tara wants to apologize to Dhruv while he feels bad for mistreating her. But someone impersonates Dhruv and kills Udaybhan whose blame goes on Dhruv and he gets imprisoned. Someone kidnaps Ravi. While Dhruv and Samrat decides to run away from the prison with each other's help but they gets failed as Dhruv wants to reveal Samrat's intentions. Dhruv gets to know that Tara has gone to the 21st century to drop off Ravi safely. In the mourning meeting of Maharaj Udaybhan, Maharaj Vikramjeet Singh of Vikramgarh along with her daughter Rajkumari Shyammohini Singh takes Vallabhgarh under control when Mahaveer and Tara was not in the palace. Shyammohini sits on the throne and gets impressed by Dhruv and wants to marry him. The royal family gets captured and it is revealed that it was Samrat who helped Vikramjeet and Shyammohini to take Vallabhgarh under control. Shyammohini tells Dhruv that she will burn Navrangvan and will kill the royal family. Dhruv agrees to marry Shyammohini but puts conditions of not burning the Navrangvan, not killing the royal family, leaving Vallabhgarh and to kill Samrat to which she agreed. But Shyammohini brought huge amount of Ammo to burn the whole Vallabhgarh but Dhruv spoiled the ammo and made a plan to save Vallabhgarh.

Dhruv executes his plans and also called Mahaveer on time and succeeds in saving Vallabhgarh. Samrat escapes in the battle. When Tara reaches in the 17th century, she got to know everything and Shyammohini advises her to trust Dhruv. Now, Dhruv's death punishment is about to start. Mahaveer becomes the new Maharaj of Vallabhgarh and Tara becomes the new commander-in-chief. Tara becomes very angry with Krishna for doing wrong with her so she decides to break all her bonds with Krishna but in her way Krishna himself appears in front of her in normal human form and told Tara to call him Ranchod.

Dhruv's death punishment starts and as a commander-in-chief, Tara has to give command to punish him but she couldn't. Mahaveer told her to go but Anusuya saves Dhruv whose blame goes on Tara. So, Tara tries her best to find Dhruv. Ranchod (Krishna) guides her and she made him her royal guide. In his guidance, Tara held her Swayamvar to catch Dhruv while Dhruv tries to stop the "Swayamvar" but Ranchod advises him to go back for Tara to which he agreed. After one month, Kings and princes from different kingdoms arrived for the Swayamvar but Dhruv is still lost.

Swayamvar held and Dhruv enters as Nayak after training for martial arts and sword fighting in the 21st century and gets permission to be a contestant. Tara doubts him to be Dhruv. Ranchod made Tara believe that she still loves Lord Krishna. Meanwhile, Samrat also entered in the palace with an invitation for the Swayamvar due to which he can't be eliminated before participating. Samrat defeats all other contestants except Nayak. As a result, a wrestling match has been held between them. Samrat meets Tilottama who is her secret lover. Tara founds out that Nayak is Dhruv. Dhruv proves his innocence to Tara with the help of Ranchod. Tara feels guilty. Ranchod made both Dhruv and Tara realize their mistakes and suggests them to fight against the curse Navrangvan. Thus, Dhruv and Tara reunites again.

Tara starts worshipping Lord Krishna again. Tara helps Dhruv in the preparation of the wrestling match. But Samrat tricks Dhruv and Dhruv loses his eyesight for some hours before the match. So, they made a plan to defeat Samrat by hearing the sound. Before the match, Sukanya heard Samrat and Tilottama's conversation but Tilottama hits her head and made her unconscious. Tilottama successfully frames Anusuya wrong in front of Mahaveer. So, she is captured in a room and no one is allowed to meet her. The match started and Samrat is seen to be winning over Nayak. But eventually Nayak defeats Samrat by paralyzing him. Thus, Nayak (Dhruv) wins the Swayamvar.

Samrat is sent for treatment and is questioned about his secret companion. But he didn't answer. Tara and Nayak's marriage sets but before marriage they resolve to find out the killer of Udaybhan. Tara gets to know that Sukanya is unconscious and Anusuya is being punished. Dhruv and Tara starts investigation to find the real culprit which leads them to the blind tailor, Pukhraj. On the other hand, Tilottama hires a new spy.

Dhruv and Tara made a plan to catch the real culprit by organising the Akhand Path on Ganesh Chaturthi. Tilottama finds out their plan and she tricks Mahaveer and he exiles the royal priest from Vallabhgarh. But Ranchod helps them to complete the Akhand Path. Every woman in the palace takes part in the Akhand Path and Pukhraj hears them out and recalls their voices but before he can hear Tilottama's voice and give sign to Dhruv and Tara, her spy made him unconscious and Dhruv and Tara 's plan failed but they get to know the reason for his unconscious which leads them to a man named Bhanu in Nawabganj. Tara gets to know that Tilottama has deceived them all. Tilottama uncovers Nayak's real identity in front of Mahaveer. Mahaveer gave orders of killing Dhruv by hanging him and to arrest Ranchod for helping Dhruv.

While Tara brought Bhanu (who actually killed King Udaybhan) in Dhruv's cloths in Vallabhgarh and tries to uncover the misdeeds of Tilottama but instead Mahaveer breaks his bonds with Tara for helping Dhruv, but Saraswati realises that Tara is speaking truth. Dhruv is hanged and is assumed to be dead, but Tara, Ranchod and Saraswati saved him. Saraswati apologized Dhruv for not trusting her but tells her to not feel sorry. Samrat and Tilottama made a plan to kill Mahaveer by putting a bomb inside a box, but Tara tries to save Mahaveer but the bomb blasts. Everyone died which were near the bomb except Mahaveer and Tara. Mahaveer was not in too bad condition, but Tara was badly injured and needs instant treatment. So, to treat Tara, Mahaveer made Samrat the new King of Vallabhgarh. The royal family gets arrested and Samrat beats Dhruv and Tilottama gives orders not to treat Tara. Tara loses her soul and Ranchod appears in front of her in the form of Lord Krishna and saved her. Samrat's coronation ceremony starts, and Tara dressed herself as a dancer with a female soldiers' team stopped the coronation ceremony and saved Dhruv and the royal family. Now, Samrat and Tilottama are announced to be punished by death and Bhanu (as he surrendered) was announced to kept in the jail. But Tilottama tries to attack Tara but fails as Mahaveer stabs her to death. Later, Dhruv proposes Tara to which she accepts, and their wedding rituals commence.

In wedding rituals, Tara said that she will wear the Mangal Sutra given by Ranchod (Lord Krishna) because Lord Krishna has said to her that if she keeps the Mangal Sutra then Dhruv and Tara can be saved from the curse. But Dhruv loses the Mangal Sutra before the wedding but later Lord Krishna blesses them and gives them the same mangalsutra blessed with his blessings. Dhruv and Tara finally get married and comes back to the 21st century.

1 year later

Dhruv and Tara goes back to the 17th century for Rakshabandhan. During the ceremony an earthquake hits Vallabhgarh marking an end to the kingdom. Dhruv wakes up in a hospital and searches for Navrangvan and realises it too demolished but gets a clue about new Navrangvan. Tara realise she is pregnant with Dhruv's child. However some dacoits attack them and Anusuya too dies in process while Tara slips into coma. However, Maharaj Surya Pratap Singh of the rival kingdom, Devgarh arrives to their rescue and sacrifices his right hand for a comatose Tara and her baby and takes Tara, Sukanya and rescued citizens of Vallabhgarh to Devgarh. It is revealed that Pratap is cursed for not having his biological child and heir to the kingdom. To get the curse revered his aunt decides to visit pilgrimage. Meanwhile in 21st century Saraswati gets a trauma of losing her family while Dhruv's ally Dr. Kirti suggests him to keep Saraswati away from her family's memories.

5 years later

Dhruv is still searching for a new Navrangvan along with gaining back his identity as a successful neurosurgeon while Tara continue to acts as Queen Antara of Devgarh to protect Shaurya and develops a close bond with Surya's cousin Meenakshi. Sukanya is also grown up and she along with Tara gives self-defence training to Devgarh women. Soon Surya's aunt returns back and gets enraged seeing Tara giving self-defense training to women and being queen of Devgarh. Meanwhile Saraswati continues to ask Dhruv to move on with Kirti but he refuses to do so and gets vital clue of new Navrangvan being present in Jaipur. In 17th century Shaurya gets flashes of things related to the 21st century and his biological father Dhruv and picturise them in the form of paintings amusing Tara. Dhruv and Tara both finds New Navrangvan in their respective centuries. Tara decides to not go back in 21st century as she is under the burden of the favors done by Suryapratap for her and can't separate Shaurya from him. But Dhruv time travels to the 17th century and reaches Devgarh.

In 17th century, some goons abducted Shaurya who gets saved by Dhruv. Suryapratap later on takes dhruv into the palace as a token of showing gratitude where Meenakshi falls in love with Dhruv and Dhruv gets to know about the rivalry between Vallabhgarh and Devgarh and the curse on Devgarh. Tara gets to know about Dhruv but decides to not reveal her identity. Dhruv then leaves the palace but Maan Singh poisoned him to kill him for saving Shaurya. But Tara saved Dhruv's life.

After healing, Dhruv goes to Vallabhgarh where he gets to know that Tara had been killed by Dacoits, saving Vallabhgarh. Dhruv came back to Devgarh where he begins to suspects queen Antara to be Tara because of her similarities with Tara. While Suryapratap realises his love for Tara, Dhruv eventually finds out that Antara is none other than Tara.

To send Dhruv away, Tara told Bhabhosa that Dhruv shouldn't be here due to Meenakshi. While, Sona and Chandi made a plan due to which Dhruv and unconscious Meenakshi gets caught alone in a room by which Dhruv is sentenced to death. But Tara suggests to throw him in the ruin cave (New Navrangvan) to which Bhabhosa agreed. Dhruv is thrown in Navrangvan and Tara sends him to the 21st century. Suryapratap and Meenakshi gets angry with Tara and everyone for throwing Dhruv away. Later, Tara reads the love letter written by Suryapratap for her but they are attacked by dacoits in which Suryapratap gets injured. While, the royal family celebrates a festival.

Dhruv along with Tara's mother visits Devgarh's palace where Tara told Dhruv to stay away from her and she doesn't love him anymore. Saraswati gets angry with Tara and Dhruv felt heartbroken. Meenakshi got to know that Dhruv is back and she proposed him to marry her to which heartbroken Dhruv agrees. But later Dhruv realises it is not right. Meenakshi goes to Suryapratap to told her love for Dhruv. Suryapratap tries to consult Bhabhosa for Meenakshi's marriage with Dhruv but she disagreed. So, Meenakshi tried to give her life but gets saved. Then, Bhabhosa unhappliy agreed for Meenakshi's marriage. Dhruv is now confused to what to do. Bhabhosa sends Mann Singh along with Sona and Chandi to Vallabhgarh to find Dhruv's identity.

Dhruv finds his things in Tara's room by which he suspects that Tara still loves him. So, he recorded a video and left it for Tara so that Tara can come in the backyard of the palace otherwise Dhruv will not be able to survive. Tara runs to save Dhruv from the fire and saved him. She also told him that she still loves him but she can't live with him due to Suryapratap's doing for her. Dhruv then gets to know the truth except that Shaurya is his son. Dhruv then told Tara that he doesn't complain about Tara and is proud of her. But Bhabhosa, Suryapratap and Saraswati watches Dhruv with Tara without her stole so Bhabhosa punished Tara and Tara completed her punishment. Dhruv told the truth of Tara to Saraswati says sorry to Tara for judging her. Later, Maan Singh along with Sona and Chandi came back from Vallabhgarh and brought a last brick of Vallabhgarh, the history book of Vallabhgarh and a royal parrot of Vallabhgarh to expose Dhruv's connection with Vallabhgarh. Firstly they disrespects Vallabhgarh and then tried to burn the history book of Vallabhgarh but Dhruv saved the book. Later, the royal parrot recognises Dhruv and says Tara, 'princess'.

Tara along with Suryapratap made the parrot to fly away. Maan Singh watched them. Bhabhosa again made a plan to disrespect Vallabhgarh by destroying the miniature of the royal palace of Vallabhgarh which angered Saraswati and she spoke the truth of Tara. Bhabhosa gets shocked and she punishes Tara to do rituals for her dead husband and takes away Shaurya from Tara and Suryapratap. Saraswati got hurt and requires treatment and for that Dhruv is said to be a servant of Bhabhosa to which Dhruv agreed.

Bhabhosa punishes and hurts Dhruv by giving him difficult tasks while Dhruv helps Suryapratap and Tara to not get worried about Shaurya and also made Shaurya eat food and get happy. Saraswati awakes and gets angry on Bhabhosa for doing misdeeds. This results in a fight between them. Shaurya tried to stop them but Maan Singh dropped a huge rock from height on Shaurya. Dhruv saved Shaurya but Shaurya's head gets internal injury in the process and is need of immediate treatment. But the doctors of 17th century are not capable of doing such treatment and Dhruv can't reveal his true identity of being a neurosurgeon and Tara's husband. So, he disguises himself and starts Shaurya's treatment along with Tara.

He successfully saves Shaurya. But, he later realizes that Shaurya is his son. Suryapratap also learns that Dhruv is Tara's long-lover and gets furious. He intends to keep Shaurya with himself as he raised him from childhood. Bhabhosa, on the other hand, impressed by the work and determination of Dhruv to save Shaurya, declares the wedding of Dhruv and Meenakshi and declares him the new king of Vallabhgarh. Dhruv writes a letter of apology to Meenakshi in which he tells her that he can’t marry her because of his past relations (referring to Tara). Dhruv quietly walks into Meenakshi’s room and keeps the letter. Later, Dhruv makes a plan to take Shaurya with him, Tara comes to meet Dhruv and Dhruv locks Tara in a room. Dhruv tells Tara that he is going to do something for his son. Tara requests Dhruv not to take any wrong decision.

Dhruv makes a lion noise in front of Surya’s room. The soldier went to find out about the lion and Surya also wakes up to see the lion. Dhruv quietly enters the room and picks up Shaurya in his arms and takes him away. Surya finds that Shaurya is missing. Tara breaks the door and goes after Dhruv to stop him. Suryapratap also arrived in time where he watches Tara stopping Dhruv to take Shaurya away. Tara convinced Dhruv to not take Shaurya away. Surya gets impressed by Tara's loyalty towards him and also want to take revenge on Dhruv.

Suryapratap made a plan and told Dhruv and Tara to go with Shaurya and live happily. Dhruv and Tara gets ready but Tara watched Suryapratap's unconditional health after so he decided to stay because Suryapratap can not live without his family. Dhruv gets to know that Surya was faking his health condition and his intentions. Dhruv and Surya gets into a conflict which Tara sees and Surya tried to turn Tara against Dhruv.
