Cleanup

[edit]

This page needs a major cleanup. I originally thought of reverting to previous, however all the stuff on Star TV is stuff I don't know about and so it may be detremental to my removal of it. In the meantime I have added the COW world back, as it was in danger of deletion. This however needs a MAJOR cleanup. Rafmarham (talk) 22:39, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed... There are parts of this article that don't make sense. Plus a lot of the Star TV stuff is superfluous. Star TV was simply the platform that carried the service in parts of Asia, nothing more, nothing less.

At this stage in time I propose that this article is reverted to the article as it was in July/August 2011 as the article made sense while still referenced the Star TV platform withdrawl. I do not believe any relevant article knowledge has since been added. Time to clean up. Rafmarham (talk) 14:10, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have been bold and reverted the page back to as it was before the major change. I have also added some information from a book to the article and referenced it. Rafmarham (talk) 11:14, 2 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Now that the page has been protected, could this page please be returned to it's old state. Also, the image has been orphaned and could be deleted if not hastily restored. Unfortunately I do not have the time at the moment. Rafmarham (talk) 17:51, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Revert 2 July 2012

[edit]

As previously explained, STAR TV was a television operator relaying BBC WSTV into the region. STAR TV did not have any connection to the BBC or the running of the station. They supplied it in the same fashion as a satellite or cable TV operator. This has been explained and clarified in the article before. I have therefore reverted this edit due to factual innacuracy and failure of the MoS. Rafmarham (talk) 15:46, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
