Christine Laitta is an American actress from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.

Born in 1962 in the Pittsburgh suburb of Mt. Lebanon, she has played many roles and currently stars in the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera's production of Forbidden Broadway.[1]

She got her start at acting in 1979 a the age of seventeen at a local musical theatre camp. There she starred in many productions , such as the Ugly Duckling in which she portrayed the Ugly Duckling and The Wizard of Oz as the Wicked Witch of the West.[citation needed]

Laitta is also the co-author of the book The Dramatically Different Classroom [2] about incorporating drama and music into classroom activities.

She currently teaches at Rogers CAPA Middle School located in Pittsburgh.
