Closed?

[edit]

The BIEL's website does not list any events in 2007. Is it closed, perhaps since the war? Wikipeditor 19:00, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I know (I haven't been there lately), the BIEL is not closed. It's just that the current situation in Lebanon isn't really suitable for holding many "leisure" events. Though now that I remember, I do think there was an international book fair in BIEL within the past two months. By the way, the BIEL doesn't have an Arabic name, so I hope you don't mind me removing the tag. —LestatdeLioncourt 08:09, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is NOTclosed just a few days ago John Digweed performed there and the lebanese governement held a dinner in honer of the new president on may 25 2008 in the BIEL--77.42.207.17 (talk) 12:56, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As the General manager of BIEL , i would like to inform you that the website was simply not updated since a long time , and we are just launching our new website. We have been opened since 2001 with no interruption . (RIAD) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.125.14.98 (talk) 02:39, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
