Awkward

[edit]

"It is worth of note that Hersche's school..." extremely awkward phrasing, and I'd appreciate someone addressing it. I'd have it fixed already, but my device doesn't want to cooperate. Ragityman (talk) 16:26, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Improvement

[edit]

No one wants to discuss this article?

Having not visited in several years, I am extremely pleased with the progress, particularly expansion and clarificatoins by editor Carolynbiggio. You are very knowledgable, and though you seem close to the subject (often a source of COI problems), I find the article to still have good balance of views. I would advise, as a precaution, that you might try to include more inline refs, as that seems to be the norm these days on en.WP. Just to be proactive and prevent reverts. Also, the paragraph following Hawthorne's death, beginning "He also attended..." is mostly redundant info, and should probably be deleted. "National Institute..." could be reinserted where chronologically appropriate. Unfortunately, I don't know when that was.

Thank you for all that you have accomplished. Rags (talk) 08:23, 5 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have "sectioned". Some material had to be reordered, so feel free to reorganise, if I have muffed something.
Also, the book link to Amazon will probably not survive. Personally, I have no problem with it, but I believe it is considered a violation of several WP policies/practices. Sorry.Rags (talk) 09:05, 5 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
