Clean up

[edit]

I added the cleanup tag. In genreal the article could be worded better and re organized. As it is the first paragraph is pretty bad. I also feel that all the elementary schools should be linked to their page (assuming they have one)--Cadet hastings 15:28, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

High School LLL

[edit]

As per this press release from Broward County Schools, LLL High School does not have a name, and will not have a name until January 2008 at the earliest. Please do not change the name until the school has officially been named, and cite a press release from the school board or a news article from a reliable source, such as the South Florida Sun-Sentinel or the Miami Herald. And I have reverted the change again. High School LLL has not been named. Horologium (talk) 19:35, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A new article....

[edit]

I think we should start a new article named "Broward County Schools" that is a comprehensive list (as is this article) of schools in Broward county (not just the public school district). Kind of like taking List of high schools in Florida and making a full article out of it or maybe just Broward County Private Schools so that Broward County Public Schools doesn't get excessively long. There are MANY private/charter/prep/virtual/home schools within Broward County that are not mentioned in this article. Some of these (private..etc.) schools already have articles floating around. Examples:

This talk page is for discussing changes to this article not the creation of new pages. You could create a draft for such a new page or request its creation although there's probably a possibility it will be merged with this one or into the Broward County article. Right now, "Broward County Schools" redirects to this article. I think that's more reflective of the colloquial use of the term "Broward County Schools" to refer to the school district, but it's clear that this article is dedicated solely to the school district and should not include content on private schools. Neutrality of Controversy Section

[edit]

The description of the fallout of the investigations into the Parkland Shooting is heavily one-sided. It also needs to be updated to mention later developments, including the resignation of the superintendent. The description of controversy of mask mandates is lacking context and fails to mention masks were previously in use prior to 2021. Arecaceæ2011 (talk) 20:34, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've updated the section and tried to make the POV more neutral. I'm going to leave a current event template on the COVID-19 section for now but I will remove the POV template. Arecaceæ2011 (talk) 23:17, 1 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
