Aachen West station is a railway station in Aachen on the railway lines Aachen – Mönchengladbach and Aachen-West – Tongeren.
Services
All regional trains stop at this station, so it is usually served four times per hour and direction. Since the RWTH Aachen wanted to expand massively at the beginning of the 20th century and therefore required the space occupied by the Templerbend train station, the new Aachen West train station was built a few hundred meters west. The relocation of the station also made it necessary to relocate the route between Aachen Templerbend and Richterich.
