I am moving these here from under the External links section. These need to converted into cites. No point simply dumping them there. -Mayuresh 22:16, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The western influence

[edit]

The song "Dil tadap tadap" is based on the Polish folk song "Szla dzieweczka". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82bBMxNF9AE
Does "Aaja re Pardesi" also has a tune of some Western folk song?

Edit warring over birth date

[edit]

@Antarachow: Sorry, but we can't simply say "cite composer's passport" for his date of birth. The reason is that is not a verifiable source. You may have seen his passport, but how can we verify this information? Furthermore, repeated changing the article back to your preferred version without discussion is "edit warring" and could result in an editing block. Please discuss here first! Thank you!
