Launch of the IDEA Network 1 April 2021 Online Purpose: bring together staff, students, and potential external collaborators to share experiences of using Wikipedia and her sister projects in research, teaching, knowledge exchange and public engagement. EXPLORATHON 2021 72 hour Editathon 00:01 on 23 September 2021 to 23:59 on 26 September 2021 Online Purpose: build capacity by recruiting new editors from Italy, Malta, Spain, Sweden, and UK/Ireland. 5 editor training sessions were delivered in the run up to a 72-hour editathon over the weekend of European Researchers' Night 2021. 57 people registered for the training, 44 editors signed up to the Dashboard, and 13 edited over the course of the weekend. Contributing to Open Knowledge: Mind The (Gender) Gap Wiki Workshop 23 April 2022 Online Purpose: Chevening organisation, Global Share social enterprise & the IDEA Network hosted a Wiki Workshop where they worked together on adding biographies of women to Wikipedia. Wiki STEP Project 2022 June – July 2022 Online Purpose: fill knowledge gaps in English and Simple English Wikipedia relating to topics such as soil microbes, historians, and mathematicians. 20 undergraduates spent the summer researching and creating new articles on these topics. 19 students and 2 staff members received new editor training, and everyone edited over the summer. WikiLovesMonuments Fun Palace 00:01 on 30 September 2022 to 23:59 on 2 October 2022 Online Purpose: encourage folks to added photos of listed buildings to WikiCommons by offering asynchronous training on the Fun Palace website over September 2022. Collaborate and Celebrate the First Female Alumni 12 August 2022 Hybrid Purpose: encouraging members of the Postgraduate Society at the University of St Andrews Students' Association to collaborate on researching digitised archival information about St Andrew’s first female alumni.

The event aimed to spark a discussion and encourage attendees to become “knowledge activists” by looking for additional information about these women.

Whose knowledge counts session for the New Scots men's group. 27 November 2022 Onsite "Whose knowledge counts" session for the New Scots men's group. The New Scots Connect program is a partnership including Science Ceilidg, Multicultural Family Base and Edinburgh Napier University supporting a community based and /youth work-based approach to public engagement working with children and adults from diverse migrant and refugee backgrounds to support confidence, wellbeing, English and general communication skills through workshops focused on Engineering. American Society for Micobiology Day of Wiki Editing 4 May 2023 Online Linking to the Antibiotics Under our Feet STEP Programme, this day of editing focused on microbiology topics.
