This article is a stub on a current event. It should not be deleted because there is significant information out there and many people in the DC region think this is an important issue. If you do not like the article, add to it in true Wikipedia fashion. --Andrewman327 (talk) 14:30, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, this is a significant see www.repairklingleroad.org.
The most recent additions, claiming that "the Council may find it too expensive to build a 3-block neighborhood hike/bike trail in the middle of the roadway. The Council may, instead, find building the road as more fiscally responsible, and serve the greater public good" is pure opinion, not neutral reporting. The so-called "roadies" refuse to give up. Wow, I'm really impressed by how complete this article is now! There's way more information than when I created it. Andrewman327 (talk) 15:02, 20 August 2010 (UTC)andrewman327[reply]

I'm grateful to Andrewman327 for having initiated this page. The matter is an epitome of the endless conflict between people who want automobile roads, and people who want bike routes and recreational paths. The Klingle Road battle may be close to a final outcome. Abuelo jack (talk) 21:25, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Much of the language in the body of this article is copied from a site (http://www.repairklingleroad.org/) advocating reopening the road. Some of this material is factual, but right now at least the page reads like advocacy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Matthewdull (talkcontribs) 05:44, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It is true that much of the text comes from the road advocates, and sounds like advocacy. Someday I'll find time to go back and tone it down a bit, now that the road-vs.-trail battle is over. Abuelo Jack (talk) 03:48, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal: rename "Kingle Road" article as "Klingle Valley Trail"

[edit]

The Road is now the Trail. Shouldn't we move the page to reflect this? 18:01, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
