Marcelo Augusto Silva Serrano (born 29 November 1979), known as Marcelo Serrano, is a Brazilian manager who worked as coach of USVI Senior National Team, Austin Bold FC[1] and Joinville EC.

Coaching career

United States National Team

Serrano had a stint working nearly 3 years at US Soccer and at his time working for the federation he qualified for 2017 U17 World Cup in India and the highlights were winning the 2016 U17 Nike Friendlies in the United States, 2016 U17 Montaigu tournament in France, a Runner-up 2017 U17 CONCACAF Cup in Panama, Runner-up 2016 U17 AIFF Youth Cup in India, Runner-up 2016 U17 Aegean Cup in Turkey and Runner-up 2017 U18 IMG Cup in the United States.

USVI Senior National Team

Serrano was hired in January 2018 as the head coach and general manager of the U.S. Virgin Islands men's senior national team ahead of World Cup qualifiers, the CONCACAF Gold Cup, and the CONCACAF Nations Cup.

Austin Bold FC

Serrano was introduced as the first head coach in Austin Bold FC history in 2019, where he won the Texas Cup in the first year. [2]
