I am interested in the claim that Lake Vermillion was one of NGS's top ten most scenic lakes in the 40's. I was searching for an actual source, but so far no luck. Plenty of tourism websites for the area claim it, so I don't doubt it's true, but there is some ambiguity. http://www.boathouselodging.com/ and http://www.lakeplace.com/resorts/mn/northern/ both put it in the top 40 most scenic lakes. --Greyduk 20:00, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
