Classification status after unauthorized disclosure?
I've been trying to find some references to this situation without much luck, but I think it would be good to add something about it to the Declassification section. Manys (talk) 17:44, 16 September 2020 (UTC)
- NNSA and DOE in such situations just unclassify stuff. Valery Zapolodov (talk) 02:36, 13 August 2022 (UTC)
- DoD says it is still classified even if leaked.

Is President designated entity under 36 CFR. Ch. 11, Sec. 1260.28?
This is the whole TS//RD-CNWDI debacle. Valery Zapolodov (talk) 18:41, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
whitewashing?
@Komorijuno: I appreciate some of your edits of 2023-01-21T23:06:02 but not the deletion of the following:
Peter Louis Galison, a historian and Director[1] in the History of Science Dept. at Harvard University, claims that the U.S. Government produces more classified information than unclassified information.[2]
This looks like whitewashing to me. I've created another sentence summarizing that citation and appended it to the lede. I hope you will find this appropriate.

- "Peter Louis Galison, a historian and Director in the History of Science Dept. at Harvard University, claims that the U.S. Government produces more classified information than unclassified information."
- This is not tangible information nor has it any historical relevance or gravitesse and serves only as a insinuation, its purely speculative and not fact based, thus requires deletion. This has nothing to do with whitewashing. 2001:9E8:46C9:100:D14D:B9E3:7A15:A2A2 (talk) 01:38, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
