Fantastic film.

[edit]

Saw this at the Museum of Modern Art in New York several years ago. George Raft plays a bar owner similar to Bogart's character in Casablanca and was far more believable as someone women might obsess over Noah and Wallace Beery (talk) 02:51, 16 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Extremely entertaining.

[edit]

George Raft was great in this one, playing a Casablanca-like bar owner and being infinitely more believable than Bogart as someone women might routinely obsess over. I highly recommend this movie, one Raft's best showcases. Noah and Wallace Beery (talk) 02:55, 16 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

We just saw it today and enjoyed it a lot, although it's not like in the very top tier of great movies, but well worth watching. (Amazon Prime TV for us.) One thing I found interesting is the likeness of the 3 characters to Othello, Desdemona, and Iago. SnailsSpace (talk) 01:50, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
