Outline of proposed changes
- Use some of the sources from my bibliography to add and update information on gender inequality in the workplace.
- Use some of the sources from my bibliography to add and update information on gender inequality in regards to wages and the wage gap.
- Use some of the sources from my bibliography to add and update information on gender inequality in regards to education in China.
- Use some of the sources from my bibliography to add, update, or even create a section that focuses on gender inequality in regards to marriage and household ownership/duties.
- Using my bibliography resources will help to overall improve the article by updating information in regards to more recent years, and it will help add content that is both interesting and informational.
- I am also going to tackle possibly rewriting the first introductory paragraph of the article because it needs to be. It is out of date and doesn't do a good job of summarizing the article. The current paragraph just has some facts that are disorganized and don't provide an actual summary.
- I also saw that the media section of the article needs to have more added to it. So I plan on fining some more sources next week to bulk up that section.
- I plan to go through the entire article and also make sure all the sentences make sense and pertain to the heading they are under. In the talk space, it was mentioned that the syntax needs to be improved throughout the entire article.
- I will also be going over other citations made in the article to see if they are accurate or need to be updated. In the talk space, an editor mentioned that they were previously going to do this, but did not have access to some of the articles. Through pdx, I will hopefully have access to confirm the citations and change them if necessary.
Now that you have compiled a bibliography, it's time to plan out how you'll improve your assigned article.
In this section, write up a concise outline of how the sources you've identified will add relevant information to your chosen article. Be sure to discuss what content gap your additions tackle and how these additions will improve the article's quality. Consider other changes you'll make to the article, including possible deletions of irrelevant, outdated, or incorrect information, restructuring of the article to improve its readability or any other change you plan on making. This is your chance to really think about how your proposed additions will improve your chosen article and to vet your sources even further. Note: This is not a draft. This is an outline/plan where you can think about how the sources you've identified will fill in a content gap. |
