Arginine is the main active ingredient in the modified Red Bull sold in Japan.

[edit]

No source, and the main active ingredient is most likely caffeine. User:Fred Bauder Talk 16:16, 2 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am pretty sure Red Bull in America has caffeine too, though. Europe as well...73.220.34.167 (talk) 00:04, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I get what the author is trying to indicate. Red Bull in most of the world contains taurine, but in Japan it contains argenine, a different amino acid, because Lipovitan D (a Japanese product) has exclusive rights on taurine. Neither is the main "active ingredient", but it is an important distinction. I'm not sure how best to handle this difference in the text - please advise.
