APC-Talha has been designed and manufactured by Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) using Ukrainian made engines. It is a modernised American M113-A2-Mk1.[1]
There are several provisions for firing ports and periscopes. The army of Pakistan plans to include 2,000 of these by year 2010.
Iraqi Interest
In November 2004 Iraqi defense Delegation paid visit to Pakistan and showed interest.They have ordered 44 of these.[2]
