Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it has relevant information about a high school athletic conference in Iowa. Every other active high school conference has a Wiki entry, with the exception of the Iowa Star. I created the majority of those entries three or four years ago and they are still on here. The Maple Valley Conference is a league that is resuming play in 2013 after not existing for the past 5 years. It is one of the most storied athletic conferences in Iowa, dating to 1931. The article is part of a series of article (organized by the navigation box on all of the IHSAA conference pages) and is one of the most important conferences in the state. --Jglawe (talk) 03:55, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because this article is NOT about a club. It is about a high school athletic conference that has a lot of history and is relevant in the state of Iowa. (your reason here) --Jglawe (talk) 04:15, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
