The details about his death is wrongly stated there. His family background is also not specified. Akunnuewu A. Emmanuel (talk) 19:23, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source. Hyphenation Expert (talk) 19:25, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Death Rumours

[edit]

In 2022, Mohbad had issues with Marlian Music which he was signed to. And since then, he has always been harrased by agent of his former record label owner, Naira Marley.

It was gathered by a close friend and a fellow Musician, Bella Shmurda that he was depressed and hypertensive and that led to his death.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, 12th September 2023, he was attacked at a show around Ikorodu, where he had his last concert. Eye witness said he was touched with charm which led to him being taken to the hospital where he was confirmed dead. Akunnuewu A. Emmanuel (talk) 19:31, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have a source for any of these details? AntiDionysius (talk) 19:41, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal

To not merge on the grounds that the death itself has lasting significance supported by reliable sources. Klbrain (talk) 10:43, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I propose we merge [Death of MohBad] with MohBad. Currently it doesn't seem that there is anything especially notable about this death that would merit it having its own article (per WP:EVENTCRIT), nor is there enough information that merging the pages would overwhelm the MohBad article as it currently exists. ForsythiaJo (talk) 03:48, 24 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The subject has a widespread impact just like the End SARS, and his death has shown it going to have a lasting effect. The ongoing investigation would uncover the truth or not, but Nigerians have shown with or without the law, protest will spark up because it looks like a murder case. The article is currently Under Construction.--Afí-afeti (talk) 04:33, 24 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, a separate article is unnecessary and much of the content here is either duplicated or WP:NOTAMEMORIAL. Celjski Grad (talk) 06:02, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Celjski Grad How does this meet WP:NOTAMEMORIAL? Is it because Afí-afeti is a Nigerian and he's writing about it. I sure Afí-afeti is not MohBad's friend, family member, acquittance, etc. This is not by any chance meeting WP:NOTAMEMORIAL as the person in question clearly "meet such requirements" by passing the notability guideline for musicians. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 11:14, 30 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose the subject meet all the inclusion criteria seen at EVENTCRIT and does not fall within the scope of NOTAMEMORIAL. Best, Reading Beans (talk) 21:55, 30 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose per my comments above and +1 to Reading Beans'. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 22:19, 30 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose Topic meets all criterias and should have a stand alone article by all standard. Regards B.Korlah (talk) 14:25, 1 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
