P. V. K. N. Government College (or Papudesi Venkata Krishnama Naidu Government College), Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh was established in 1961 and recognized by the University Grants Commission in 1966. It is the leading college in Chittoor district, affiliated to Sri Venkateswara University. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts, Sciences and Commerce. The campus is spread over an area of 54.8 acres (22.2 ha) with a student population of 3655, of which 928 are women and 67 are PG students.[1]

The college is affiliated with NAAC-A grade.[2]

In 2020 the College started a course leading to the award of certificates, diplomas and a Bachelor of Vocation degree in Food Processing Technology to help students gain employment in the local fruit processing industry rather than migrating to Chennai and Bengaluru for employment.[3]
