The Apprentice
Ahmed appeared as a candidate in series two of The Apprentice, a British reality television show hosted by Alan Sugar. The series was broadcast from February to May 2006. He led the Invicta to victory in Task 3 as Project Manager and won five out of ten tasks. In the following task, he was held accountable for his management of his team's budget, in which he purchased one hundred chickens, leading to a largest loss of money in the history of the Apprentice at the time, of £800. In Week 8, he once again led his team to victory as Project Manager, but this victory was cancelled out, as his team received a fine for arriving late to the boardroom. He was fired in Task 10 of the Series and served on the team of eventual winner, Michelle Dewberry in the Finale.
