Personality traits

[edit]

I think that some of the characters personality traits should be listed, even a few of their "memorable quotes" and such. I don't really think it would need to be cited, as you can obviously tell that Frank is a hothead, Tom is calm and sensible, and Joe is quick to talk. [edit]

The links under Japanese airplanes need to be fixed. Takes you nowhere, but articles about the planes can be found in Wikipedia.

NPOV

[edit]

I changed the missions to story, but I need NPOV because my paragraph sounds a little biased. Baseracer 02:29, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Release Dates

[edit]

Since there are so many versions of the game, each console/PC should have its release date stated explicitly. Thanks. - Keithustus 18:58, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merge of Angels of Dunkirk

[edit]

Moved entire Angels of Dunkirk text to this main article, suggest redirect, or preferably blank and delete of Angels of Dunkirk by an Administrator. --Dave 08:50, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

Project Cancellation

[edit]

A citation is going to be needed for this claim or else it's going to have to be removed. StealthHit06 22:49, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have modified this claim to more accurately represent the situation. I have also combined the paragraphs that mention the Wii version, and separated off a paragraph regarding the rumour about its cancellation.— Aielyn 11:09, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

-it should be removed. I went on the official website, it says "NEWS 2006/08/23 - Ubisoft is proud to announce it will bring Blazing Angels (TM) Squadrons of WWII to the PlayStation(r)3 computer entertainment system and nintendo Wii! Stay tuned for more news!" -some random person

ideas

[edit]

i have an idea of adding the aircraft used in the game and changing ANgels of dunkirk yto your wing mates... would that work?—Preceding unsigned comment added by Spartan117009 (talkcontribs)

Sequel

[edit]

Look at this,[1] for the news of the sequel.Sam ov the blue sand 22:23, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Problems

[edit]

I have the problem that my plane always gets pulled toward my target in air combat. I know it isn't a camera problem, any ideas? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.3.2.130 (talk) 18:26, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If it's in Multiplayer Duel mode, then it means you're going out of the arena. If not, then you're straying away from the mission. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.208.85.211 (talk) 00:27, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have a different problem. I am using the game on a laptop, but have to use the keyboard, as all attempts to use a joystick result in both the aitcraft - and the camera view - rolling round, making it impossible to avoid a crash. (There is a - very small - warning on the back cover stating that joysticks are not compatible with laptops). SENIRAM (talk) 16:56, 23 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sticking to history

[edit]

It says in the manual for the Xbox 360 version that "historians later found out that one squadron was present at every major battle" or "rumors circulated about a crazy American who shot down 50 planes." Is any of that true, or is that just made up for storyline's sake?69.214.13.11 (talk) 22:27, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Eagles" squadron?!

[edit]

It's "Angels of Dunkirk", not "Eagles". Tom says "Angels of Dunkirk, out" at the end of a campaign mission, and I've never heard "Eagle" used except on the back cover.—Smithx807 Talk 15:34, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Ace

[edit]

I'm pretty sure "The Ace" is Walter Nowotny, because he was (supposedly) shot down by a P-51, and Nowotny also flew the "White 8", which was what "The Ace" flew. Should that be changed?—Smithx807 Talk 15:19, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Plane section

[edit]

Is it me or is the last part of the plane section more of a discussion than a information format. I believe it should be rewritten so it is not so much of a discussion.--Marchbaby321 15:14, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
