Hello!

This is actually my second account, but as I managed to lock myself permanently and irretrievably out of my first one, here we go. ELSchissel (talk) 14:42, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Bureaucrats' noticeboard

There is a debate ongoing regarding whether you should have been desysopped due to the inactivity on your other account at Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard § Wikipedia:Inactive administrators/2021#July 2021. I thought someone should give you this courtesy notification. Sdrqaz (talk) 19:06, 7 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. As I have not been able to log into that account for quite some time due to having lost my 2factor key, I have no objection… ELSchissel (talk) 19:15, 7 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
As I understand it, the debate is happening because there are some of the opinion that that account's administrative tools should have been transferred over to this one. Overall, as a person you can be argued to not have been inactive for long enough over the two accounts (this is a good example of a desysop not happening for those reasons). Sdrqaz (talk) 19:20, 7 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The whole point of 2-factor auth and all that is in principle I could be only claiming to be etc ELSchissel (talk) 20:06, 7 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

True, but given the explanation posted by the original administrator account, I think most would probably agree that both accounts are controlled by the same person. Sdrqaz (talk) 20:12, 7 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

yep! ELSchissel (talk) 20:27, 7 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sophie Carmen Eckhardt-Gramatté, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Suite. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

I thought you might want to know that I replied to the question you asked on the Talk Page regarding the alleged sinister origins of this child's rhyme game. Many web pages that deal with both Folklore and Fakelore have covered your question before. I tried to summarize it for you. I thank you for asking the question, however, because there has been yet another outbreak of this Meme all over Facebook in the past couple of weeks. Have a great weekend. Thanks!! ELSchissel (talk) 00:43, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi ELSchissel, you contributed valuably to the Duesenberg page Talk discussion previously. On the same 'use in popular culture' theme, a debate is currently ongoing there. Please see the final 'Etymology/doozy' section in Talk. A user is unilaterally seeking to remove all mention of 'Doozy' in popular culture and its link to the Duesenberg marque. I appreciated finding your comment and the source after I requested a refund of the soft-deleted Jerry Newport article, which fyi, is now a joint biography for Jerry and Mary Newport. Cheers, Beccaynr (talk) 14:40, 12 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Symphonies nos 4

Thank you for your contributions on the dutch article Lijst van vierde symphoniën. I lost track of that lemma and classical music as a whole. I just made an article about the 4th of Bacewicz. Badings will soon follow ,Ceescamel (talk) 13:36, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
