Coordinate error

[edit]

{{geodata-check}} The coordinates need the following fixes:

  • I believe this is wrong (currently shows the wrong side of the River Thames) and ought to be at about 51.512665,-0.074818.

See 'A detailed street map of the City of London' c 1520, by Old House Books.

I've emended the coordinates to match the location shown in the image in the article. Deor (talk) 19:40, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I believe that the garden shown in File:Site of Holy Trinity, Portsoken Street, City of London.jpg is actually Portsoken Street Garden, and I can't find anything that ties this in with Holy Trinity. According to An Inventory of the Historical Monuments in London, Volume 5, East London the 'Church of the Holy Trinity, Minories, stands at the E. end of St. Clare Street'. This old OS map (1951) actually shows the site of the church at the end of St Clare Street, quite a long way from Portsoken Street. I have therefore taken the liberty of amending the coordinates accordingly. Alansplodge (talk) 15:37, 14 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
