LGBT??

[edit]

What is Joi Lansing doing on the "lesbian gay bisexual or transgender" thread?? I've never heard any lesbian rumors about her and it's safe to presume she was an actual female.

I've removed those cats until/unless anyone has any citations that prove otherwise. -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 14:04, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
One-time actress and model Alexis Hunter, according to this report, has a new book alleging she and Lansing were lovers during the last three years of Lansing's life but kept it under wraps both for career reasons and that Lansing was still married to Stan Todd. Worth noting is that a cousin and Lansing's step-daughter apparently corroborated the information. WAVY 10 Fan (talk) 14:40, 5 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Lansing?

[edit]

When did Joi take the stage name "Lansing"? Did she choose it in honor of James Bullough Lansing, the founder of JBL? I ask because of the joint connection to Salt Lake City and the joint connection to the film industry. James B. Lansing's friend John Kenneth Hilliard worked with Joi in The Atomic Submarine in 1959. Nothing solid to verify her choice of stage name. Binksternet (talk) 14:03, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
