Requested move

[edit]
The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: Page moved. This has had a full listing period with no responses other to the nomination. I'm not going to relist it because "Mick" was already the long standing title until 8 December 2013 until it was boldly moved. If anyone objects to the longstanding title, they can start a new RM to request that. (non-admin closure)  — Amakuru (talk) 10:43, 16 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Michael Jones (hammer thrower)Mick Jones (hammer thrower) – Per WP:COMMONNAME. While official sites might list this athlete as "Michael Jones" (see e.g. IAAF) he is commonly known as "Mick Jones'. This is shown by multiple reliable sources, see e.g The Independent, Athletics Weekly, BBC, BBC, Daily Telegraph, Sports Reference, etc etc. Even the IAAF refers to him as Mick, see [1].
