Plot
The plot of the book is simple. You are off to spend the summer with your cousins Barney and Dora. Barney loves to bully you and Dora is the typical annoying little cousin. The house is pretty much free to roam but there is one restriction: you cannot go into the basement. When you ask why, your aunt tells you that they just moved in, and the previous owners were very strange. Being a kid, you go on down. In the basement there is a refrigerator that holds a jar of a purple substance (that smells like peanut butter) and a box of some chocolate cake. The purple peanut butter that can shrink you down to nothing and the cake can make you grow so tall you grow bigger than the earth. The reader chooses which one to pick. Then the reader makes choices to find the outcome.
