Tom Walker called a comedian?

[edit]

why is Tom Walker called a comedian when he has no jokes? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.13.149.47 (talk) 20:01, 27 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not Pie

Andrew Doyle

[edit]

There seems to be conflicting accounts of the role Andrew Doyle played in writing Jonathan Pie. And a couple of edits mentioning him have been reverted.

There are plenty of sources which mention Doyle, [1] This 2018 reference is pretty irrefutable - it a podcast where both Tom Walker and Doyle are together in an interview and discuss how they work together. [2]--Salix alba (talk): 08:16, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It does seem strange how every time he's added back in a new account appears, removes it, and never edits any other article. Anyone have any ideas on what's going on here? 80.47.131.226 (talk) 18:17, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Very strange. A notable fictional character should have their creators listed, especially when the creator himself has the character listed on his own page.John Bullock (talk) 16:42, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Birth Date

[edit]

There is, in my opinion, no reason for Tom Walker's birth date to appear in Jonathan Pie's article, sourced or not. Britmax (talk) 17:33, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Tom Walker to get his own article?

[edit]

Would this be WP:BLP1E? Walker (out of character) gets interviewed, and articles written about him, so would he satisfy WP:NOTE? What do we think? Chumpih t 15:31, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like a few more references are available. Telegraph 2023-09-05 and Guardian 2016-07-17. Chumpih t 22:59, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Attempting to rectify inaccuracies on the page.

[edit]

How does one go about editing their own wikipedia page from inaccuracies regarding who created the character and who writes for the character? Andrew Doyle did not create the character. Andrew Doyle co-wrote much of Pie between 2016 & 2019. Andrew Doyle and Tom Walker have not worked together since early 2019 Tomwalker78 (talk) 13:26, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
