Request protection of a page, or increasing the protection level

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent disruption from IP users (possibly the same person hopping around different ranges). MaterialsPsych (talk) 07:45, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected for a period of one month, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. Ks0stm (TCGE) 07:50, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Pending-changes protected for a period of three months, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. Ks0stm (TCGE) 07:50, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent addition of unsourced or poorly sourced content. 🔥YesI'mOnFire🔥(ContainThisEmber?) 08:23, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Checking to see if protection is necessary. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 08:48, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
User(s) blocked: 174.66.157.92 (talk · contribs). @YesI'mOnFire: Please read WP:3RRNO. Specifically, if you're claiming an exemption to 3RR, it needs to be stated clearly in the edit summary or in a new section on the talk page. Also, if the disruption resumes, please request page protection again. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 09:08, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Ongoing war between Armenia and Azerbaijan, further protection needed by ArbCom to prevent insensitive information being added EggPudding77777 (talk) 11:49, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. The article has not been edited once in the last 7 days. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 13:45, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing. Shellwood (talk) 12:19, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Persistent non-constructive/disruptive edits from 106.205.136.0/21. Maybe p-block that range from this article for a long period instead of just a short semi-protection against all IPs?.  — Archer1234 (t·c) 12:25, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

106.205.136.0/21 has just been blocked for 2 weeks, but there are other IPs (IPv4 and IPv6) that have previously made the same sorts of disruptive edits on this page. Might be worth leaving the page unprotected as a honeypot to see to which ranges they hop next.  — Archer1234 (t·c) 13:37, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
User(s) blocked: 106.205.136.0/21 (talk · contribs) blocked by K6ka. Just doing the block seems appropriate at this point. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 13:53, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: High levels of baseless nationalistic editing. Similar things were done in the past for same page. Edits didn't made into the main article. Merhabainternet (talk) 13:06, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected for a period of 4 days, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 14:02, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Requesting move protection for article in a naming dispute. The article had previously been unilaterally moved without consensus. I feel this needs administrator input. Tammbecktalk 13:08, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: BLP policy violations – Persistent addition of unsourced content to BLP and vandalism. Panian513 13:46, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
