Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because the reason for deletion no longer applies. When the page was last deleted, the subject has not yet been in a production, so it was said to be WP:TOOSOON for him to have a biography as an actor. He has now been in a production. --Kohlrabi Pickle (talk) 16:39, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Kohlrabi Pickle, Sorry, please familiarize yourself with WP:NACTOR, which this individual still does not qualify for, Onel5969 TT me 17:22, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Onel5969, I can make a case that he does, but the forum for that is an AfD, not a speedy delete. The reason for the last delete was that the subject had not been in any production at that point. He has now been in a movie and music video, so the reason for the delete no longer applies, and this G4 tag is inappropriate. Kohlrabi Pickle (talk) 17:46, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Kohlrabi Pickle, What you are stating was one, but not the only reason, not even the main reason, simply a symptom of that reason, which is that they didn't pass WP:NACTOR, which they still don't. Onel5969 TT me 18:36, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Onel5969, I disagree, but since the G4 tag has been removed and we are now at AfD, there's no point in a debate unless you're keen to hear my reasons anyway (which I'd be happy to give). I noticed that you'd mistaken the last AfD for a different one. For what it's worth, had it been as recent as you thought it was when you tagged the article, I would've agreed with you.
