Picture

[edit]

A better picuture is needed of the building. A picture of a message board near the building is completely useless.

I completely agree. At night, this tower has one of the most spectacular and beautiful lighting schemes in the world. For God's sake, somebody please get a decent photo up!
Seconded. Somebody living in HK, please take a decent photo of this building and upload it to Commons. Or perhaps somebody from Panoramio would be willing to upload a pic or two. I added the infobox skyscraper, unfortunately the www.skyscraperpage.com was down at the moment, so I couldn't retrieve info from there. --Siipikarja 20:22, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Centre

[edit]

When people from Hong Kong refer to this building in English, do they call it "The Centre" or "The Center"? I would imagine (because of Hong Kong's history under British rule) that most people in Hong Kong use British English spelling, and so would use "The Centre". If so, then the main name of this article should be "The Centre". And "The Center" should redirect to that. So, unless people from Hong Kong disagree, I propose a move. wjmt 19:00, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, according to Emporis, it is called "The Center". And that site is pretty good with info like this.-Herenthere (Talk) 03:11, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The official name is The Center. --Siipikarja 23:51, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Different thread, same topic. Why was it called "The Center" instead of "The Centre"? As wjmt points out, one would think the British spelling would have been adopted. As it stands, we have International Finance Centre, International Commercial Centre, and the Center. That's just weird.42.3.7.254 (talk) 04:19, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject class rating

[edit]

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 03:27, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Layout

[edit]

Does anyone know how to fix the layout so that the two pictures aren't floating in the middle of nowhere? Noobly (talk) 03:10, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is this that relevant?

[edit]

In November 2014, Russian Alexander Remnev and his three friends scaled to the top of the building and took videos and selfies there. Are those guys famous or what? If not I propose that sentence to be removed. Doblecaña (talk) 22:40, 2 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
