Page move

[edit]

Peter Torokvei transitioned from male to female beginning in 2001, and was known for the rest of her life as PJ Torokvei. See http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/remembering-pj-torokvei-comedy-genius-582318 adn http://www.secondcity.com/about/news/detail/1548692134423998525/12804014331068708/ for examples. Thus, I have moved this page from Peter Torokvei to PJ Torokvei. The redirect from Peter Torokvei should be left in place, since most (if not all) of her professional credits were under that name. However, since this was the name she used at death, I think this is the appropriate name for the page. GeoGreg (talk) 16:13, 10 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Protocol: his/hers

[edit]

I'm not sure of the protocol here. Torokvei's entire career as a writer, performer and producer was as Peter Torokvei, but this article seems to waffle back and forth between identifying "her" achievements and "his" achievements, with no reference to a comprehensible timeline. "She" was nominated for an Emmy in 1982, but "he" died in 2013? This is *clearly* wrong -- but I would like to reach some sort of consensus on the appropriate way to change this before any changes are made. 70.30.24.46 (talk) 06:51, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
