Rebecca Azulay Romero (born 1988 in València) is an astronomer from the Land of Valencia.^[1]

She studied at the Ramon Llull Highschool in València, and later graduated from the University of Valencia, specializing in Astronomy.^[1]

She was part of the international team that, in 2019, managed to take a photograph of the shadow of a black hole for the first time in history.^[2]^[1]
