Allotriocarida is a superclass of Pancrustacea, and notably includes Hexapoda (Insects & their close relatives), as well as Remipedia, Cephalocarida and Branchiopoda.

Allotriocarida is a sister clade to Multicrustacea, which includes crabs, lobsters, shrimp and woodlice, among others; reflecting modern molecular studies' findings indicating that hexapods evolved from crustacean ancestors. The name Allotriocarida, meaning "strange strimp", was first proposed in a 2013 study (Oakley, et al). [1]
