Pontycymmer Rugby Football Club are a Welsh rugby union club based in Pontycymmer near Bridgend , Wales and play their home games at the infamous Planka. The club colours are bottle Green and amber, whom many would say “copying another local team Bridgend athletic. The club is a member of the Welsh Rugby Union and is also, along with Ogmore Vale RFC a parent club of The Valley Ravens Mini and Junior section as well as Valley Ravens Youth who act as a feeder club to both parent clubs senior sides. Pontycymmer notoriously are a feeder club for Tondu RFC also based in Bridgend. The club was formed in the 1887 season.
