Bharat Mandapam and Pragati Maidan pages be independent

[edit]

Namaste to Fellow editors.. The page Pragati Maidan redirects to Bharat Mandapam page. Now the problem here is, Bharat Mandapam is a venue for international exhibitions and events but the Complex itself is situated in Pragati Maidan. So Bharat Mandapam and Pragati Maidan are not synonymous. More over There is a lot of data on the Bharat Mandapam which is no way related to it, infact it is about the ground location Pragati Maidan. Should I create a new page for Pragati Maidan and segregate the two pages. Please comment. Karan.jr.Singh (talk) 06:45, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Karan.jr.Singh: I noticed this issue today, it's confusing as the article claims in the opening paragraph that the building was "constructed in 1972" while elsewhere the article says it was inaugurated in 2023. The article is about two different buildings at the same time... AusLondonder (talk) 17:13, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This is the problem i was pointing to. Pragati Maidan and Bharat Mandapam are 2 different one things. One being the location (the name itself has MAIDAN meaning Ground) and the other is an exhibition center. How can they both be referred to by same Wikipedia page..🫠
We need to make seperate pages for both. Karan.jr.Singh (talk) 12:11, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
