The Possibility That Episode 15 Might Not Be the Season Finale

Harry Bring, an executive producer on Criminal Minds, stated in a tweet last July that the order for season 14 was for 15 episodes, "with the possibility of more ordered later in the season". If that is true, then why does this article say that Episode 15 is the season finale, anyway? I'm thinking some editor must have jumped the gun when he/she posted that or something.
