It's Bad!
This is an important subject, yet it seems too simple as is generalized. We need to do something about it!
- I agree, there should be a disambiguous page, for example, Lemonade Stand was a computer game. Rhetth (talk) 15:06, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
hey, what about Lucy's Psychiatric Booth In the US Comic strip series Peanuts?
Can this be considered a parody, or an 'Evolution' in Lemonade stands??

Is this something that happens anyplace other than the USA? Does it even happen in the USA anymore except almost as self-parody or parents' idea? My wife, from Korea, was horrified by the idea of selling something to drink or eat to neighbors. --Snow (talk) 03:02, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
- I’ve seen kids with lemonade stands in my suburban US neighborhood since 2018. Not sure if I’ve seen one since COVID, but I bet they still exist. Do people buy from them? I don’t know. But it doesn’t matter if they make money, the point is the experience of it. Something new for the kids to do and nostalgia for the parents.
- It kind of goes along with bake sales and car washes as a common attempt at fundraising. Maybe we could group it in an article with those? 172.221.40.41 (talk) 19:18, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
In popular culture
The section on lemonade stand video games is strange to me, it should be expanded to cover representations across media, eg: peanuts, or (god forbid) the duck song?
