The 2025 Women's World Floorball Championships will be the 15th edition of this competition. It will held from 5 to 14 December 2025 in Brno and Ostrava in the Czech Republic.[1][2][3] Sweden are the 7-time defending champions.

Host selection

In late 2019, the Czech Floorball Federation announced they were considering bidding for either the 2023 or 2025 edition. They ended up choosing to bid for 2025 after Singapore and Thailand stated they wanted to bid for 2023 as they wanted to give a country outside of Europe a chance to host (Singapore hosted the 2023 event).[4][5]

The Czechs were given the hosting rights unopposed on 24 May 2023.[1][6][7] The Moravian-Silesian Region has given its financial support to this tournament.[2] Czech Floorball Federation president, Daniel Novák, said:[8]

"We are happy that the championship will return to a place where we all know it very well. In Ostrava they also hosted the Women's World Championship in 2013, and we also played here the men's World Championship group stage in 2008 and two great editions of the Superfinal and we must not forget the final tournament of the Champions Cup. All of these events that took place enjoyed great interest from fans and I believe that we will be able to build on them in terms of quality organization, and a great spectator backdrop".
