Notre Dame

[edit]

They don't belong here.122.1.124.211 (talk) 00:38, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

While Notre Dame maintains football independence, the are in a contract agreement to play 5 ACC "conference games" and they are directly linked to the ACC bowl rotation. The standings template clearly reflects that and provides a more accurate as well as a useful representation for the season. Having Notre Dame on the "independent" template with BYU, Army and Navy shows no relevance for the post season. Nolephin (talk) 14:42, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

As you just said, they are an independent. Regardless of the contract, the are not in the ACC. They should be in the independent template with a note about the ACC. Separating one independent team from the others makes no sense. People will look for Notre Dame in the independent section not the ACC section.Correctron (talk) 23:32, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
