T's Peer Review

[edit]

J, this is a really good bibliography! You explain all of the articles well and seem to have a pretty good idea of how they will be utilized. The articles also seem to fit the topics very well and will provide a good introduction and explanation of all the subjects. My only concerns are: I'm not sure if the 7th one is technically a communication source (it might be? but also it looks like you have more than the required amount, so you will likely be able to use it anyway). Additionally, it looks like you listed some of these articles on your original sandbox to be utilized for the topic of transgender communication studies, but seemed to write about them and their possible usage only within the context of heteronormativity/cisheteronormativity, so it might not be a bad idea to clarify. Outside of these absolutely minor, nit-picky things, great work! - (Thebodocious (talk) 19:13, 15 April 2024 (UTC))[reply]

Hi T! Thank you for your response! I really liked your critiques at the end about how I need to clarify more and talk about transgender communication out of the context of cisheteronormativity. I definitely agree. I think from here I'll plan on adding more sources exclusively about trans communication and make sure that they can stand and be talked about separately, so it gets the attention and care that it deserves. Thank you for pointing that out and thank you for your detailed comments! I really do appreciate it! It's been nice working with you! Moonmocha (talk) 17:48, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

J, great job with COMM sources here (YAY) and descriptions of your sources. Since you are leading the Transgender Communication Studies page, I would like to see 2 sources on what is Transgender COMM Studies as a field, so let’s look for those. Please see Canvas for more feedback and respond to this feedback on Wiki during our workshop time. OsaRosa (talk) 08:13, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your feedback! I definitely plan on refining ny sources and getting more sources just based on Transgender COMM studies, especially with T's feedback as well. Moonmocha (talk) 17:49, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Expanding on my response, I will also look for bigger, longer articles, especially for Transgender Communication. I plan to look through the library online as well to find articles that are a little more suitable. Moonmocha (talk) 17:56, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
