9-1-1
Hi, thank you for acting as closer at this discussion. I'm a bit perplexed, however, by the close. You counted the votes 5-3, but reading the discussion, this is not the case:
Support:
User:kashmiri (OP, implied support)
User:Necrothesp
User:Walrasiad (weak support)
User:SmokeyJoe
Oppose:
User:162 etc.
User:Awesome Aasim (supported status quo, or 911)
User:Pppery
User:CookieMonster755
WP:CONSENSUS is not simply vote-counting. That being said, I'm not convinced that this discussion led to a consensus to move. 162 etc. (talk) 17:20, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for bringing up the opinion of Awesome Aasim, I did misinterpret his comment supporting the move. I have updated my closure to reflect that.
- Indeed, consensus is not vote-counting. That is why I also considered the strength of the arguments in my closure. As I stated in my closure, the "Oppose" arguments cited WP:NATURAL, but failed to make a case for why the use of an alternative name should be preferred over WP:PARENDIS for the article. Awesome Aasim in particular did not explain at all why he chose to
Oppose having the disambiguation in the title.
Therefore, I considered the oppose arguments to generally be weaker than the support arguments. feminist🇭🇰🇺🇦 (talk) 02:54, 31 January 2024 (UTC)

Improve Level 3 vital articles to Featured Article status
Hi, looks like an awesome challenge :) Signing up – I'm going to try my best to get Henry Ford up there. Thanks! TLA (talk) 23:21, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
- Good luck! feminist🇭🇰🇺🇦 (talk) 02:21, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for offering another vital articles reward, only just noticed it! I think targeting level 3 but with the higher bar of featured status is a great idea. the wub "?!" 17:10, 19 February 2024 (UTC)

The Society VA5 talk page
Next time, when you make that many proposals at once, please make them subsections of one big talk page section. This is called a batch proposal. Having so many different sections on the page at once is a bit overwhelming, especially for users on mobile devices. For an example of a batch proposal, see this discussion. Thanks, QuicoleJR (talk) 17:25, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
- I'll restructure some of my proposals into batch proposals. Thanks. feminist🩸 (talk) 02:04, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
- @QuicoleJR: done, hope this makes the page easier to navigate. feminist🩸 (talk) 02:19, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
