The creation of new legal rights

In 2023, Nicolas Maurel-Lalague became the rightful successor and owner of the Earldom and 8th Earl of Hereford. The hereditary earldom title is enshrined in English law as an incorporeal hereditament. The feudal Earldom title of Hereford has been re-established by legal process by a leading authority in the UK. The legal rights to the title have been transferred by Deed of Conveyance in compliance with the Honours (Prevention of Abuses) Act 1925 (Hatton Solicitors).
