Structural and molecular formulae for MMAN

Monomethylamine nitrate (also known as MMAN or Monomethylammonium nitrate) is a gunshot residue. Its molecular weight it 94.07 amu.

Akzo Nobel manufactures methylamines at its Delfzijl site in The Netherlands and its Marano-Ticino site in Italy. The methylamines are produced by reacting ammonia and methanol in the gas phase at high temperatures and high pressure.
