I Survived... is a documentary television series produced by NHNZ that aired on Lifetime Movie Network and, as of 2022, can be seen on Court TV.

The show allows survivors to explain in their own words how they overcame life-threatening circumstances without dramatic reenactments. Most episodes feature two or three separate stories involving scenarios such as kidnapping, assaults, or getting injured or stranded in a remote location. The format shows the survivor speaking into the camera to describe their experiences, with occasional use of title cards to summarize events or photographs of locations or people mentioned by the narrators.

In a stripped-down, simple-yet-cinematic interview style, I Survived... allows survivors to explain, in their own words, how they overcame unbelievable circumstances – offering insight into what got them through the experience that changed their lives forever. I Survived... is storytelling at its most dramatic, most basic, and most honest.

The series premiered on March 24, 2008 and aired its last episode on January 26, 2015. Its sister series "I Survived... Beyond and Back" (in which people share their near death experiences) debuted in 2011.

While Holly and her boyfriend Chris are taking a quiet stroll near the railroad tracks in Lexington, Kentucky, they are accosted by a man demanding money. Both are bound, gagged, and then brutally bludgeoned. Chris dies at the scene, but Holly miraculously survives the rape and is stabbed in the neck, and is able to seek help. What Holly doesn't know is that the man is serial killer Ángel Maturino Reséndiz. Linda is driving home from work to her lakeside cabin in Canyon County, Idaho, when she is run off the road in the middle of the night by four strangers. High on drugs, they viciously attack her, demand money, set her car ablaze, and leave her for dead in a deserted field. She is rescued by two teenagers in a passing car who see the fire and drag her to safety.

Teenagers Troy and Josh take a small sailboat out to an inlet near Hardeeville, South Carolina, to go fishing when they get caught by a dangerous current and are swept out to sea for six days. They must struggle to survive against heavy seas, freezing temperatures at night, burning hot temperatures during the day, and sharks that keep circling their boat.

Maria fears for her safety as one of her fellow employees at the hospital in Norristown, Pennsylvania, where she works becomes increasingly volatile. She manages to get him fired, but a couple of months later, he bursts into her office with a gun, shooting her and killing her colleague. While driving in San Antonio, Texas, Jerry swerves his car to avoid a deer and crashes over an embankment where a tree branch becomes lodged in his throat. Barely alive, he survives two days in the ravine until he finally manages to drag himself to the road's edge where he is spotted and saved. Melissa and her two-year-old daughter are sleeping at their home in Grand Rapids, Michigan, when she is woken by an armed intruder. The man slashes her with a knife and sexually assaults her before stuffing her in the trunk of her car. He then drives around for hours, picks up his friends, and assaults her again. Finally, he leaves the car, leaving a terrified and injured Melissa to drive home to her abandoned daughter.
10	"Virginia Tech Massacre/Minneapolis School Bus Crash"	06-09-2008 (06-09-2008)
This episode tells the harrowing story of how two students and a professor at Virginia Tech managed to survive the April 16, 2007, massacre at the school. One of the students, Colin, had to lie motionless and play dead as the gunman shot him four times. We also chronicle the amazing story of the Minneapolis school bus with 52 children that plummeted 45 feet when a Minneapolis bridge collapsed in August 2007. Trapped in her seat, driver Kim held the brake, keeping the bus from rolling backward, as counselor Jimmy and his co-workers rush to evacuate the children, including Kim's own daughter.

Three months after recovery, he is poisoned three times by a woman who was stalking him. A young woman and three friends swim through shark-infested waters in Ormond Beach, Florida, in a desperate bid for survival after their boat capsized during a storm. One of her friends is killed by sharks before the group is rescued.
